In Arizona, school board races were once non-partisan elections that were often canceled as not enough or jus thte right number of candidates stepped up to run. In Chandler Unified School District, Arizona's second-largest district and a Republican stronghold, I worked to successfully hold a pro-public education Democratic majority and spearhead fully in-house digital, mail, field, finance (becoming the highest-raising CUSD campaigns in board history), and compliance (including serving as the treasurer for two of the campaigns) programs.
In this uniquely red district, I developed messaging and assets (including digital and mail) directed toward Democrats and separately Republicans in order to pull in support from voters across the political spectrum. That also included ghostwriting op-eds from key figures and elected officials across the district.
